2026-2027 USP/Collegium Fellowships
From January 12, 2026 to March 13, 2026
As part of the multi-year partnership between the University of São Paulo (USP) and the Collegium de Lyon, the call for applications for the USP/Collegium fellowships is now open. This program allows a researcher from USP to come for a five-month residency each year, either from September to January or from February to June. The chair is open to full professors affiliated to the USP. Applications must be accompanied by a letter of support from the director of the research unit affiliated to USP, as well as another letter from the director of the research unit of one of the institutions in the Lyon-Saint-Étienne academic ecosystem that will host the selected candidate. All fields of academic research are eligible.
- All-inclusive accommodation (excluding household insurance) in a one-bedroom apartment in the Collegium de Lyon residence and assistance with administrative formalities;
- Academic integration into the Collegium's interdisciplinary cohort of international fellows in residence, with participation in the weekly internal seminar and other scientific activities;
- Payment by USP of a mobility grant.

Candidates interested must include a letter of support from the director of the co-hosting research unit at the Université de Lyon.
