2027-2028 Inria/Collegium Fellowship
From September 15, 2026 to January 29, 2027
As part of the multi-year partnership between the Inria Centre in Lyon and the Collegium de Lyon, the call for applications for the Collegium’s Inria fellowship is now open. This programme allows a researcher to be hosted each year for a period of 5 to 10 months, between September and June.
The fellowship is open to scholars who hold a professorship or an equivalent research position at an academic institution outside of France, and their research project must fall within the field of digital science and technology. The project must also be supported by an Inria team at the Lyon Saint-Etienne site.
The fellowship includes :
- All-inclusive accommodation (excluding household insurance) in an apartment in the Collegium de Lyon residence,
- Assistance with administrative formalities,
- Academic integration into the Collegium's interdisciplinary cohort of international fellows in residence, with participation in the weekly internal seminar and other scientific activities.
- Coverage of mobility costs and a possible compensatory allowance in the event of a partially funded sabbatical.
Applications must include:
- A detailed CV
- A joint research programme (2 to 3 pages)
- A letter of support signed by the head of the Inria team that will co-host the researcher with the Collegium
- An official letter from the home institution certifying that the employer-employee relationship will be maintained for the duration of the stay at the Collegium
Schedule for hosting in 2027-2028 :
- Application deadline: 29 January 2027
- Selection of applications: February 2027
- Results: February 2027

Security: Visits may be subject to the rules governing the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), particularly if the visit is assigned to a Restricted Access Zone (ZRR). If the ministerial opinion is unfavourable, the fellowship will be cancelled.
