2027-2028 SHAPE-Med@Lyon One Health Fellowship

From September 15, 2026 to November 15, 2026

SHAPE-Med@Lyon and the Collegium de Lyon are launching the One Health–SHAPE-Med@Lyon fellowship. Each year, the programme welcomes a researcher in residence for 5 or 10 months between September and June. The fellowship offers a supportive and transdisciplinary scientific environment.

The fellowship offers the opportunity to participate in a well-structured, transdisciplinary research and training programme within an academic environment.

Applicants must hold a position as a researcher or faculty member at an institution outside of France and have a hosting plan in a laboratory affiliated with one of SHAPE-Med@Lyon’s 13 institutional partners, for research projects focused on the One Health approach.
 

The SHAPE-Med@Lyon One Health Chair at the Collegium includes:
· Housing with all utilities included (excluding home insurance) in an apartment at the Collegium de Lyon residence, along with assistance with administrative formalities;
· Inclusion in the annual interdisciplinary cohort of researchers in residence at the Collegium, with participation in the weekly internal seminar and other scientific activities;
· The possibility of SHAPE-Med@Lyon contributing to research expenses;
· The possibility of SHAPE-Med@Lyon providing funding for living allowances.

Schedule for the 2026–2027 residency program:
· Application deadline: November 15, 2026
· Candidate interviews: January 2027
· Results: February 2027
· Researcher’s arrival in France: September 1, 2027
