The Montaigne workshop is organised within the framework of LabEx COMOD (University of Lyon), in collaboration with the "Institut de recherches philosophiques de Lyon" (IRPhiL, Lyon 3), the "École Normale Supérieure de Paris" (Ulm), the Paris Centre of the University of Chicago, the "Institut universitaire de France" (IUF) and the "République des savoirs" (UAR). Alberto Frigo, researcher currently in residence at the Collegium de Lyon, will co-host the session on 6 December.

A former student of the École Normale Supérieure in Pisa, Alberto Frigo is Professor of the History of Modern Philosophy at the Università degli Studi di Milano.
