COVID-19 has brought tremendous changes to the global policies. U.S. immigration policies have also been significantly altered in response to the crisis. This conference will provide an overview of these changes and the litigation that has ensued.

Professor Amanda Frost will describe how the Trump administration changed its policies regarding entry to the country by noncitizens at ports of entry, such as land borders as well as airports. In addition, she will address the recent ban on issuing green cards to noncitizens seeking to enter the United States, and other restrictions on visas to come to the United States. Finally she will discuss how the administration has changed its immigration enforcement and detention policies. She will also answer participants' questions regarding the policy changes showcased throughout this webinar.

Amanda Frost is professor of Law at the American University, Washington College of Law and a 2019-2020 Fellow of the Collegium de Lyon.
