As part of the Axis A seminar on Knowledge, Norms and Doctrines, organised by the HISOMA laboratory, Ian Goh, researcher in residence at the Collegium, will present the session on “Greco-Roman didactic poetry” and his research: “What Virgil left behind: Trash (talk) in Columella”.

Ian Goh is a Senior Lecturer in Classics at Swansea University. He studied at Harvard and Cambridge and has published extensively on the literary genres of Roman verse satire and Latin love elegy.
He is a 2024-25 Fellow of the Collegium de Lyon.
