Lena Magnone : "Freud's emissaries. The cultural transfer of psychoanalysis to the Polish intelligentsia before the Second World War"

As part of the international conference on "Polish Literature and Psychoanalysis" organised by the Faculty of Slavic Studies at the University of Saint-Clement-d'Ohrid in Sofia (Bulgaria), Lena Magnone, researcher in residence at the Collegium, will present her research: "Freud's Emissaries. The cultural transfer of psychoanalysis to the Polish intelligentsia before the Second World War".

Lena Magnone is a literary scholar with a particular interest in Central European modernism, psychoanalysis, and women’s writing.
She is a 2024-25 Fellow at the Collegium de Lyon.
