Magdi Guirguis : "Non-Muslims (dhimmis and non-dhimmis) in “Islamic” societies, approaches and inquiries"

Magdi Guirguis, resident at the Collegium - Institut d'études avancées de l'Université de Lyon for the year 2024-25, will present his research : "Non-Muslims (dhimmis and non-dhimmis) in “Islamic” societies, approaches and inquiries" at the seminar of the Religions and Beliefs axis of the Rhône-Alpes Historical Research Laboratory (LAHRA).
Magdi Guirguis is a Professor of Diplomatics at Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt, specialized in Ottoman Egypt and Coptic history.
