The Scientific Advisory Board is expanding!

 The Collegium de Lyon is delighted to announce the appointment of two new members to its Scientific Advisory Board :

- Thomas Pardoen, Professor of Materials Engineering at UCLouvain (Belgium)
- Sverre Raffnsøe, Professor of Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School (Denmark)

Thomas Pardoen is a Professor at the Université catholique de Louvain and a leading expert in materials mechanics. His research focuses on multiscale mechanics, as well as the deformation and fracture of advanced materials. He has received numerous scientific awards, including the 2023 Grande Médaille from the Société française de métallurgie et de matériaux, and currently serves as Chair of the Scientific Council of the SCK CEN, the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre.

Sverre Raffnsøe is a Professor of Philosophy at the Department of Business Humanities and Law, Copenhagen Business School. He is editor-in-chief of Foucault Studies and research director of The Human Turn (HUMAN) and Management of Self-Management, research programmes funded by Velux Fonden. He is the author of books and articles on philosophical aesthetics, management philosophy, social philosophy and recent French and German philosophy.
