The Anthropocene as a new geological epoch. The long term. (April 9, 11 a.m.). The discussion will focus on topics such as: What are the implications of the Anthropocene as a new geological epoch? Is Earth the Goldilocks Planet? What traces will humans leave in geological rocks?

A conversation with Professors Jan Zalasiewicz and Mark Williams of the University of Leicester, and members of the Anthropocene Working Group, formed by the International Union of Geological Sciences to "Examine the Anthropocene as a Unit of Time geological and potential complement on the geological time scale ”.

Sverre Raffnsøe is Professor of Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School and editor-in-chief of the international journal Foucault Studies. He is a 2020/2021 Collegium de Lyon Fellow.
